This is the first non-beta installment of TradeBot v5, which means I have placed full support in the code. As a bot operator, new options arise for your bidding; such as, limits, advance options, better xml update, and better messages for your costumers. I also included, in the 5.1 release, a brand new !search feature, which when used correctly, will allow anyone the opportunity to find exactly what they want. You'll be able to find armor, weapons (melee or missile), scrolls, exact items that produce exact results, any salvage material, and last, but not least, your favorite spell. Never again look at a TradeBot's inventory without first knowing what is on it. Along with this new functionally, you'll be able to use the same command within the trading interface, which will instruct TradeBot to automatically add those items you wish to see. This means, if you're looking for armor, just issue the !search command, and TradeBot will only display the matching armor of your choosing. Sounds great? Yes, but there is more.

You'll notice an enhanced graphical user interface (GUI) by now being able to filter your accounts and points. What else is incorporated within the new interface is every list is not alphabetical, yes, even your prices. This isn't all that comes with an enhanced GUI, TradeBot now knows where to click the trade button in any window state (except alt-tabbed). If your surfing the web, TradeBot will still function correctly, and if someone wants to buy something, quickly switch over and push that trade button. No more worries of lost income, due to not using your favorite window settings. Last but not least of the enhanced GUI, is TradeBot now knows to place focus to the edit box, and accepts the enter key as input. You'll find version 5.1 decreased point/pricing setup to a faction of the time in early versions.

Don't stop me here, but TradeBot v5.1 fixes some minor bugs present in early versions. Being able to delete incoming messages, using 100% for a discount, using personal messages, and I also fixed the problem with deleting salvage from your price list. This means, you'll be once again be able to sell salvage with a blanket price. I've also updated the 'Sold' and 'Found' price filters to only search the correct location (no more sold stuff showing up if you had one in the side pack). Accounts are handled internally, which means, TradeBot removes excess information if that person didn't alter their starting account. The check/add search feature produces better results, and doesn't include sold items. You'll also notice, that the check/add reference ID string is updated with a better example, to provide some help to new users. It also allows for more than 7 items, for a maximum of infinity (only if the items are not unique).

TradeBot version 5.1 is the next installment which will revolutionize the trading experience.





This is a listing of the !search command available in TradeBot version 5.1.
The commands are as follows, each preceded by !search in either external or an internal command:

Exact-{item name}
Armor-{type} : {Type} includes: Head, Hands, Feet, Legs, Chest, Girth, Arms
Missile-{type} : {Type} includes: Bow, Crossbow, Thrown
Melee-{type} : {Type} includes: Dagger, Sword, Mace, Ua, Staff, etc
Salvage-{material name} : you must use the full material name, such as Steel
Spell-{spell name} : you can use partial names. Example "major"
Scroll-{scroll name} : do not include 'scroll of'

Please note, the earlier version of TradeBot's !search command produced bogus results, and version 5.1 includes the text ‘TradeBot v5.1’ to signal that the results are accurate.

Everything should be working smoothly now. Please check the build notes for a huge list of changes. Main fix is selling salvage, and some minor improvements in the logs.

Fixes all startup issues with the bowl, and now detects if your wielding.

Added option to insert ALL into the character name field, which allows TradeBot to detect all characters inventory.

Allow you to accept different levels of workmanship at different point values.

To use store * as the point value, which will bring up the workmanship panel. Set up your salvage profile, then complete the process with *. Ranges with value of zero, will not be accepted.

A blanket price is still acceptable, just insert that normally.

Check the builid notesfor other minor fixes and new patch information.

After 30 minutes TradeBot will log off if you had not received any trade requests. I'll release an updated version tomorrow, and hopefully a salvage upgrade. (no full story)
